So I’ve been receiving numerous requests asking for basic smoothie recipes. To m…

So I’ve been receiving numerous requests asking for basic smoothie recipes. To me a basic smoothie is healthy, delicious and easy to make using only a few ingredients. Also, I’ve been hearing that some of my smoothies look like, um… ya know….. 💩!! As much as I try to make them look pretty, sometimes you get green, brown and whatever color this smoothie is when you mix together certain ingredients together, right!!? These shades of smoothie may not always appear super appetizing to a newbie, I get it! All I can say is hopefully you can look past appearances and find the beauty in the flavor and satiation that a smoothie provides. Okay so here’s the recipe:
1 banana
1/3 c frozen blueberries
Handful of spinach
1 1/4 c coconut, spring water or almond milk
1/8 slice of avocado
1 scoop of protein of choice
That’s the basic recipe, the ing are optional:
1 tsp spirulina
1 tsp maca
1/8 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp maple sugar
Just blend and enjoy! 💚
